Plumcake al caffè

Welcome, dear friends of Marcafè, today we offer you the recipe to prepare a delicious and soft coffee plumcake, to prepare and enjoy with the family as a snack or for breakfast.

Let's start by getting the ingredients we need:

  • Marcafè coffee (prepared with moka) 350 g
  • 00 flour 400 g
  • Sunflower seed oil 100 g
  • Sugar 250 g
  • Baking powder 16 g

Preparation

First, let's prepare our Marcafè coffee with the moka pot and let it cool. While all its aroma is released in the kitchen and keeps us company while we prepare the dessert, take a bowl and pour in half the flour, half the yeast, and half the sugar.

Add the seed oil, continuing to mix with a whisk until you obtain a smooth mixture.

In another bowl, pour the remaining flour, sugar, and yeast and add the coffee, stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps.

Butter and flour a rectangular mold (26x11 cm) and, using spoons or small ladles, gradually pour in the two mixtures, alternating them to create a “zebra” decoration.

Once the mold is filled, bake the dough in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 20 minutes. After this time, lower the temperature to 160°C (320°F) and bake for another 45 minutes.

Once baked, let it cool a little, remove it from the mold, slice it and enjoy it!!
